Risk Management

Mr. Stamp is responsible for the underwriting of new transactions, as well as portfolio and risk management. This includes the analysis and structuring of new debt investments in addition to managing asset management initiatives. In this role, Mr. Stamp oversees performance of the firm’s existing portfolio, actively assessing risk at all levels to ensure the portfolio remains in line with the firm’s investment objectives.

Prior to Newport Capital, Mr. Stamp spent seven years working in the public REIT space where he was focused on new equity, debt, and joint venture investments in healthcare real estate, as well oversaw asset management of a nationwide senior housing joint venture portfolio.

Mr. Stamp received his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Real Estate from Indiana University. He is an active volunteer at the local Boys and Girls club where he coaches basketball and helps with after school programming.
