Newport Capital provided an $8.9-million bridge loan to cover the acquisition and rehabilitation of the Brookshire Polo Club, as well as the development of surrounding lots to be sold to custom homebuilders.
The purchased site is part of a larger, 200-acre country ranch in Metro Houston, within close proximity to the Houston Executive Airport and West Houston Medical Center.
The estate features a 60,000-square-foot indoor polo and equestrian arena, activity fields, tennis court, a brand-new cottage house and horse stables, as well as lakes, ponds, lakeside dock with cabana and outdoor kitchen, surrounded by 500 live oak trees and pecan orchards.
