Newport Real Estate Partners (NREP) commences distressed real estate acquisition strategy to acquire foreclosed properties
2012
After making equity investments in hundreds of properties, NREP launches NPI Debt Fund I
2014
Newport Realty Trust (NRT) is established as a mortgage REIT and acquires NPI Debt Fund I
2015
NPI Debt Fund II is formed to focus on commercial properties
